Here are some photos to give you an idea of some of the fun and exciting things our 2 year old does: goes canoeing out back; rides his bike; plays hide-and-seek; goes to the park; reads stories with grand-pa; goes on excursions with family and friends; and gets to nap (geez, must be nice!) - just to name a few!
No wonder we can't keep up…

Deavan had his first easter egg hunt this year – both indoors and out. The Easter Bunny also visited Graeme and despite the fact that he's almost got 6 teeth (yes, 6 teeth and not even 8 months!), the easter bunny limited his sweets this year…
We also had a family dinner with Ren, Lee, Alison and Casey. The weather was great so the kids got to burn off some energy by playing outside with Ruby, in the wagon or on the swing.
At the end of March, the Fitzskis took a trip to Montreal to visit with family and see the sights. Deavan and Graeme got to spend time with their great grandma and their grand aunt Robin. Besides hanging out at the hotel (for naps in the king sized bed), we also went to the butterfly exhibit; saw some 85 year old bonsai trees and the kids experienced their first 3-D movie at the IMAX!
Ruby also got a special weekend vacation - spending the time with Casey and the cats. Here she is in Casey's car ordering a latte from Starbucks; she let Casey pick up the tab of course…
Unusually warm weather in late March and early April brought about new activities for the boys, including Graeme's first time in the swing (and Deavan asking to go higher!).
Pictures here include trips with friends and family to the Agricultural Museum (Experimental Farm) around Easter time; the museum of Science and Technology; and general playing and goofing around the house.
Once again, we did our annual pilgrimage to Wheelers (http://www.wheelersmaple.com/) for everything maple! We got to load up on tons of pure sugar: maple syrup, maple sausages and maple on a stick. We also saw all the animals and even went on a horse-drawn wagon ride. Deavan even gave us the 'back off and get your own maple stick' look… (see below)
As for milestones, Graeme's got two bottom teeth (slowly…) poking their way out and causing some grief. He can sit propped up, at least for a short while, and gets around just fine by rolling or going backwards. And if we hadn't mentioned, Deavan hasn't had diapers since Boxing Day – fully potty trained, YAY!
Graeme, our little Mexican jumping bean, has mastered the art of rolling on to his stomach and flips onto his belly any chance he gets! Won't be long now…
Activities continue with an enjoyable visit from Judy; Deavan's first time on bob-skates on FitzGerald Pond as well as making a mess with the bull rushes; and the brothers playing together around the house.

At just over 4.5 months, it was time to start Master Graeme on solids! Not following the typical cereal route, we started him on some home grown carrots from the garden – yum!
